A journey to place to call Home

What is home? It is “a safe place,” a place where one is free to be, a place where one experiences secure relationships and affirmation. It’s a place where people share and understand each other.

It is a place where relationships are nurtured.  A safe place is where love, support, a common humanity that makes all of us vulnerable will be fostered and blossom. Home is where children are groomed and beauty of character is learned, disciplined, and ready for life.

A Home is wherever the people who love you are, whenever you are together. Not a place, but a moment, and then another, ‘building on each other like bricks to create a solid shelter that you take with you for your entire life’, wherever you may go.

This House now has that; it is a safe place one will call HOME.

Home is the one place in this entire world where hearts are sure of each other. It is the place of confidence. It is the place where we tear off masks, which the world occasionally forces us to wear in self-defense, and where we pour out the unreserved inner thoughts to confiding hearts.

It is the spot where expressions of tenderness reach out without any sensation of awkwardness and without dread. The other name for home is peace and it ‘takes hands to build a house, but only hearts’ can build a home.
