McCormick Place was ablaze with activity during the recent trade show held in Chicago early September. There were a total of 92,450 participants who registered for the show, which was the strongest showing since 2000, according to www.imts.com.

Of those participants, just 80 miles west, were a group of hopefuls. First, hopeful to bring interested businesses to Rockford to showcase our capabilities. Then a better plan was devised…bring Rockford to them!
